Preamble:

The goals of the Tufts University School of Medicine Student Council are as follows:

1. To serve as the voice of the student body to the medical community at Tufts.

2. To serve as a liaison between the student body and the Medical School and University Administrations.

3. To foster student unity.

4. To provide financial support of events, projects, and organizations that benefits the total medical education of the student body.

5. To coordinate student representation to the various intramural committees and extramural organizations requesting such representation.

6. To oversee such activities of the individual classes as it deems necessary to ensure fair just consideration for all students.
