Faculty and students in the Agriculture, Food, and the Environment Program at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy conduct research in the areas of sustainable agriculture, environmental policy, food systems, and behavior related to food and the environment.

The Global Development and Environment Institute (GDAE)
Researchers at GDAE conduct research on the effects of trade policies on farmers and agricultural workers around the world.

New Entry Sustainable Farming Project
The New Entry Sustainable Farming Project is a partnership that trains immigrants to become commercial farmers in the United States. t project provides opportunities for economically disadvantaged farmers, preserves farmland and promotes New England agriculture.

Dump and Run is a used merchandise sale that takes goods donated by students at the end of each school year and sells them at the beginning of the next year.

The Energy and Environment Forum (EEF), as a student-run organization of the Fletcher School, seeks to supplement academic studies through a variety of activities related to environmental and energy issues.

Environmental Consciousness Outreach (ECO)
Run by undergraduates at Tufts University, ECO organizes environmental awareness events and provides information on ecological issues.
