A Culture of Collaboration

Having an impact on human health is a goal of many students in the Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences — a goal shared by the Sackler faculty.

"The science faculty here keep the big picture in mind while they are doing very focused research," according to one student. "They don't forget why they are studying something in the first place."

Tufts-New England Medical Center and Tufts medical school, just across the street, serve as constant reminders of that “big picture.” They also provide clinical collaborators for Sackler faculty and students.

Sackler faculty and students share the belief that engagement in each other’s research builds science and makes it exciting.
