All graduate students must register at the beginning of each term in which they are actively working on a degree. Even if all required courses have been completed, degree candidates are required to register. In order to maintain active status, students should register each semester online.

Online Registration Instructions

To Log-in, go to:

https://hsfonline.tufts.edu/

• Enter your Student ID
• Select Sackler from the drop-down list
• Enter four digit pin

If this is first time logging into SIS, use your birthdate as your PIN in mmddyy format (for example, 121282 for December 12, 1982); the system will then prompt you to change this to a four digit PIN. If you have forgotten your PIN, please contact us at the Sackler Dean’s Office at 617-636-6767.

To Search the Schedule and Register for Courses:

• Click on “Registration”
• Click on “Register”
• Select the appropriate term from the drop-down list
• Click on “Power Search” at the top of the screen

This will allow you to view courses by Subject (e.g., GENE, ISP, CRES etc). From the search results you can see which courses or sections are open and available to you, and add a course to your schedule by clicking the “Add” button.

If you already know the Subject, Course Number, and Section Number of the course you wish to register for, you can simply add those in the “Register” screen without using the Power Search.
