B.S., Biology Schistosomiasis is the second most prevalent parasitic disease in the world, infecting approximately 200 million people. Our lab has established murine models of high and low pathology schistosomiasis. My project focuses on innate mechanisms responsible for inducing T cell populations with varying phenotypes and pathogenicity. |
