Student Activities

Students in the Immunology Program can participate in many activities beyond those that relate directly to their education. The Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences sponsors multiple activities that provide ways for students to meet each other and enjoy the camaraderie that is an important part of the graduate school experience. In addition to social events, opportunities for community service and career enrichment are available. The Sackler Graduate Student Council (GSC) sponsors many of these events and information about many of the events can be found on the GSC web site. Highlights of the program include:

Sackler Relays

Fund-raising atheletic competition, won by Team Biochemistry in 2007. Team Immunology was victorious in 2006.

Community Service

• Gap Junction, a science education program for middle school students
Rosie's Place visits, outreach at a shelter for the homeless
GSC-sponsored blood drives
Horizons for Homeless Children

Social Events

Boston Harbor Cruise
Boston Duck Tours

Professional Sports Games
