My work has focused on bacterial pathogenesis for some time. I established my laboratory at Tufts University and New England Medical Center in 1996, and recently moved to the Department of Molecular Biology and Microbiology of Tufts Medical School. My group is supported by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and has trained several students and fellows to date.
