Our Program trains students for the Ph.D. and combined M.D./ Ph.D. degrees through the Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University School of Medicine. We offer a rigorous educational program in an atmosphere of strong collegiality, cooperation, and support.

Our faculty highly values graduate education and is committed to providing intensive training to outstanding students. We are highly focused on regulation of gene expression, chromosome replication and dynamics, and parasite-host interaction in microbial systems, and are particularly well-known for training in bacterial and viral pathogenesis.
