Thesis Topic
Regulation of E. coli RNA polymerase via interactions with sequence elements and auxiliary protein factors

Current Research
I am currently studying mRNA 3' end processing in S. cerevisiae. Specifically, my research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms that couple mRNA processing to poly(A)-dependent transcription termination. Additionally, I am exploring the potential
coupling of mRNA processing to DNA damage response, a link that has been documented in mammalian cells.
