The aim is to develop new mathematical methods for realistic description of complex biological systems, with focus on HIV research. Prospective candidates must demonstrate conceptual strength, current interest in explaining biological experiments, and excellent command of either approximate analytic methods or numerical computation. Previous expertise in biomedical modeling is not required, but diversity of topics in physics is a plus. Salary will be in the range $46,000 to $52,000 depending on the expertise level. The initial term is one year, with a possibility of extension.
