Welcome to the Tufts University/Tufts Medical Center Imaging Facility (TIF), a core facility of the Tufts Center for Neuroscience Research (CNR). The TIF is managed by Dr. Alenka Lovy; it offers access to confocal and TIRF (total internal reflection fluorescence) microscopes; equipment and expertise for laser capture microdissection; software for 3D image rendering/analysis, and standard epifluorescence microscopy to all Tufts and Tufts Medical Center scientists. Spinning disk confocal microscopy and deconvolution microscopy are available through the labs of Drs. Stephen Bunnell and Robbie O'Connor. Please contact Dr. Fanny Ng
(Shui-Ying.Ng@tufts.edu) for epifluorescence microscopy and Dr. Alenka Lovy (Alenka.Lovy@tufts.edu) for information about all other microscopy instruments. The TIF is located in Stearns 207, adjacent to the Stearns elevator (see campus map link below). Please follow the links below for information about the TIF, including the fee structure for use of instruments and calendar sign-up pages. Facility updates can be found at this link.

As an indication of center productivity and its usefulness in research at Tufts, it is important that investigators acknowledge the use of CNR core facilities and assistance in their research publications.  Please remember to cite the "Tufts Center for Neuroscience Research, P30 NS047243 (Jackson)".
