  Summer Internships

Each year the Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics has several opportunities for Tufts medical students seeking to do research between years 1 and 2.

One specific option is a program endowed by The Shader Family Research and Education Fund. In this program students may work with any department faculty member who has project, however preference is given to students interested in projects involving drug metabolism or drug interactions. When possible, students interested in being a Shader research awardee should plan to take the Drug Metabolism selective as a combination of their last two selectives in year 1 as preparation for their summer work.
