Year 1

• (4) 10 Week Laboratory Rotations

In June of the first year, students choose their thesis laboratory and program of specialization.

Year 2

Students in Cellular and Molecular Physiology take:

As a requirement for the Ph.D. degree, all students must pass a qualifying examination during their second year. The qualifying examination consists of a written research proposal and an oral defense of the written proposal.
