Bio Dan Jay received his B.Sc. with highest honors from the University of Toronto, and his Ph.D. from Harvard University. During his tenure as a Junior Fellow in the Harvard Society of Fellows, he developed Chromophore-Assisted Laser Inactivation of Protein Function. He was on the faculty of the Molecular and Cellular Biology Department at Harvard University where he was named the John L. Loeb Associate Professor of the Natural Sciences. He is currently Professor of Physiology and Neuroscience at Tufts University School of Medicine. His research is focused on Proteomics, Cell Motility and Axon Guidance.
