Resources

Our lab maintains traditional equipment for molecular biology, cell biology and protein biochemistry along with several more specialized items. We have two inverted fluorescent microscopes for cell culture work which have been modified for use with the CALI/FALI technology (Micro-CALI). These can be used to record real-time films of living cells before, during, and after the inactivation of a specific protein. We also maintain a bigger laser for large-scale protein inactivation. Recently, we added a Tecan Genesis robotic workstation to the lab. This is used in our high-throughput screening endeavors.

We are a member of the GRASP center and also have access to several core facilities within the medical school which provide additional technologies as well as service functions. More information can be obtained on these core facilities by following the links below.
