Introduction
The outreach program is
specifically designed to unite the Sackler Campus with the surrounding
Boston area by helping where we can through various non-profit
organizations. This has been a very successful program over recent years
and we are grateful to everyone who participated in the numerous events.
Anyone wishing to donate some of their time for a really good cause
should pay attention to the flyers posted around the building or contact
the committee members responsible for the program.
Your generous help is appreciated by more than just the SGSC!

Donate Blood, Platelets or Marrow to the
American Red
Cross Today! It's time to save a life again! Every two
seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. Please help boost the
blood supply in our area by supporting the Sackler Graduate Student
Council Blood Drive on Friday, December 15, 2006 here at the Blood
Center at Tufts-NEMC. At our last drive, the Sackler community raised 40
pints of blood. With your help we can beat the last drive and reach our
current goal of 50 pints! For more information, or to schedule an
appointment on the day of the drive, please contact Lidia Faverman,
lidia.faverman@tufts.edu.
If for some reason you can not donate on the
day of the drive, consider donating on another day by contacting

or call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE. Thank you!
