Postdoctoral Training at Tufts University Postdoctoral training at Tufts University is a rich experience and the University provides trainees with a wide array of research opportunities. Postdoctoral associates are located on all three campuses of Tufts University and supported by a postdoctoral officer, Jeanne M. Fahey, Ph.D. Over 200 trainees populate our laboratories and those of our closely aligned major clinical affiliate, Tufts-New England Medical Center. Tufts University is a member of the National Postdoctoral Association and is committed to providing trainees with all the tools needed to advance their careers. Trainees focused on biomedical sciences pursue their studies at all schools of the university including the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, located in Grafton, MA, the College of Arts & Sciences and the School of Engineering, located in Medford, MA. The Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences is a focal point for research training on the Health Science campus, home to the Schools of Medicine, Dental Medicine, Nutrition Science and Policy, and the Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging, all located on the downtown Boston Health Science Campus. Our postdoctoral handbook describes the policies and benefits available to our postdoctoral trainees. A postdoctoral web site will be launched soon and provide additional details about activities for postdoctoral fellows. Tufts University subscribes to the values and principles articulated in the American Medical Association Compact Between Postdoctoral Appointees and their Mentors.
