The TEACRS program partners with three minority serving institutions in the local Boston area. Trainees will carry out some of their teaching activities at these institutions and liaisons from these schools will participate with the trainees in developing their program. Our partner institutions are listed below.

Pine Manor College is a four year women's liberal arts college located in Chestnut Hill, a Boston suburb that is readily accessible by public transportation. Pine Manor is rated Number 1 in Diversity by US News and World Report.

TEACRS Liaison: Susan Bear, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Biology

UMass Boston is a four year public university located in the Columbia Point section of Boston. The campus is readily accessible by public transportation. The university provides training leading to bachelor's degrees in a broad range of subjects and has a number of graduate programs.

TEACRS Liaison: Brian White, Ph.D. Assistant Professor of Biology

Bunker Hill Community College is a two year college offering an Associate in Science degree as well as an Associate in Arts degree. The college is located at several locations in the greater Boston area. The main campus is in Charlestown, MA and a second campus is located in Chelsea, MA. Five satellite facilities are found in Cambridge, East Boston, Revere, Somerville and the South End neighborhood of Boston.
