Cummings School of Veterinary MedicineImmunization Requirements
All newly accepted students are required to submit immunization documentation by the deadline: July 1, 2010.*
Registered students are required to keep their immunizations up-to-date, to be in compliance with Massachusetts State Law and the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine's Immunization Requirements. Veterinary students are required to have a rabies antibody titer, when their initial vaccination, booster dose, or antibody tier is 2 years old. If results are negative, documentation of the booster dose of rabies vaccine is required. Laboratory reports, with the results of the antibody titers, must be submitted to this office. A reminder notice is sent to students who need to update their documentation. Immunization requirements are subject to change. Changes will be posted on the Immunization web page and an e-mail notification will be sent to all students.
