TCCS provides guidance and direction to the Tufts community as it relates to computer processing and technology. Advice can be obtained from any of the four TCCS departments. Network Operations can provide direction on telephony, e-mail, network performance and more. Academic Technology assists faculty and researchers with the use of technology in teaching, learning and research. Administrative Computing can advise on application development and product implementation. Finally, University IT Support Services can assist with issues related to desktop computing and web design. Several University committees assist in defining standards. The Support and Training Committee (SAT) advises on desktop standards. The University Web Oversight Committee (UWOC) helps set Web Design standards. Many of the current standards and guidelines
are under review at this time. They will posted as they become available.
