PETER R. DOLAN

 

Peter Dolan is Managing Director of PRDolan LLC, a limited liability company formed in 2008. He provides CEO advisory role services and board directorship to growing companies in the healthcare and health and wellness businesses. He is a former Chairman and CEO of Bristol-Myers Squibb, with 18+ years with the company, the last 5 ½ as CEO. He has a total of more than 26 years of operating management experience, including key positions in healthcare, medical devices, nutritional products and the OTC and food consumer packaged goods businesses. In addition to leading BMS as CEO, he has served earlier, in other key roles including WW President Mead Johnson Nutritionals, WW Group President Zimmer (orthopedics), and President, Pharmaceuticals Europe and WW OTC. Peter currently serves on the boards of Gemin X, a venture capital backed oncology company and Vitality Health, a health and wellness services company that sells to employers and managed care.

Peter is the Vice Chair of the Board of Tufts University and a member of the Board of Overseers of the Tuck School at Dartmouth. He is currently also a member of the Board of Directors of the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University and a member of the Business Council. He served on the boards of American Express Company, C-Change (a cancer coalition organization) and was Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He has run several marathons, numerous triathlons and completed the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon in October, 2007. He was elected to the Tufts University Board of Trustees in 2001.
