BRIAN H. KAVOOGIAN
Brian Kavoogian is the President of Charles River Realty Investors (Charles River). Charles River is a private equity real estate firm focused on making value-added and opportunistic real estate investments on the East Coast. The firm is currently investing Charles River Realty Fund I, a $200 million closed-end commingled fund comprised primarily of institutions, pension funds and family offices. Charles River and/or Brian have been involved in some of Boston's more complex and visible real estate projects.
Brian is involved with a number of civic, charitable and industry-related organizations. In 2005, he was appointed by Governor to the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency. Brian also serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Greater Boston YMCA, the Board of the Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service at Tufts University and the Board of Overseers of Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
He also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the local chapter of National Association of Industrial and Office Parks. In 2004, Brian served as the Chairman of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. He has served as a past executive committee member of Boston's Urban Land Institute.
Brian received a BA from Tufts University in 1984. He was elected to the Tufts University Board of Trustees in 2008.
