DANIEL A. KRAFT
Dan Kraft is a director of the Kraft Group, a private holding company headquartered in Boston. The Kraft Group is comprised of companies in the paper and packaging industries, sports and entertainment, and private equity investing. The Kraft Group is perhaps best known for its ownership of the New England Patriots football team, the NFL 2003 Superbowl champions. Mr. Kraft also serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of International Forest Products Corporation (IFP), a Kraft Group Company.
Prior to joining the Kraft Group, Mr. Kraft worked as a Research Analyst and Account Executive at TeleRep, one of the nation’s largest television station representatives. In 1990, he was promoted to Sales manager of the firm’s Boston office. He served in this role for four years.
From 1994 to 1998 Mr. Kraft served as Vice President of Marketing for the Kraft Sports Group, which includes the New England Patriots, the New England Revolution soccer team, and Foxboro Stadium, now Gillette Stadium. From 1995 to 1999 he served as Executive Producer of the Patriots pre-season game television broadcasts. He is currently Co-Executive Producer of the New England Patriots weekly television show “Patriots All Access”.
Mr. Kraft earned a B.A. from Tufts University in 1987. He is a Director of Junior Achievement of Massachusetts, an overseer of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston, a Director of Tufts Hillel, and Chair of The Campaign for Tufts Hillel. He was elected to the Tufts Board of Trustees in 2002 and currently serves on the Executive Committee, the Committee for University Advancement, and the Board of Overseers for Athletics.
