DAVID J. MCGRATH III
David McGrath is a veterinarian in private practice. He owns and operates the Wignall Animal Hospital in Dracut, Massachusetts, the Lowell Veterinary Clinic, the Natick Animal Hospital, the Weston Veterinary Clinic, and the Main Street Animal Hospital in Salem, New Hampshire. He currently employs fifteen veterinarians, including several Tufts Veterinary graduates, and 60 technical and support personnel, specializing in the care of small animals.
After earning a B.A. from Cornell University in 1981, David earned a graduate degree at Tufts University before enrolling in the Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine. After earning his D.V.M. degree in 1986, he bought his first practice, the Wignall Animal Hospital and the Lowell Veterinary Clinic.
David is a member of the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. He is also a Trustee of St. Sebastian’s School in Needham. He was elected to the Tufts University Board of Trustees in 1999.
