WILLIAM R. O'REILLY, JR.
Bill O'Reilly is a partner at the law firm of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr, LLP in Boston, where he serves as Chair of the firm's Real Estate Practice Group. Bill has a broad background in real estate finance, investment and development law. In 2002, Bill was elected a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.
Bill is Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of Tufts University. He also is a member of the Board of Trustees of Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and a member of the Board of Directors of Tufts Hillel.
Bill earned his B.A. from Tufts in 1977 and a J.D. from Georgetown University in 1980. He is a longtime member of the Tufts University Alumni Association, and served as its President from 2000-2002. He served on Presidential Search Committees at Tufts in 1975-1976 and 2000-2001. In 2004, Bill received the Alumni Association's Distinguished Service Award. He was elected to the Tufts Board of Trustees in 2004.
Bill and his wife, Elizabeth Ross, are the parents of two sons, Alex and Sam. Alex attends Emory University and Sam is a member of the Tufts Class of 2013.
