Annual Scholarships

American Veterinary Medical Foundation
Donated through the Veterinary Student Scholarship Fund of the AVMF; this annual scholarship provides financial assistance to veterinary students.

Charles D. Beeler Scholarship
Annual scholarship to assist a student in good standing with financial need who is planning a career in small animal medicine.

Bil-Jac Foods, Inc. Scholarship
Annual scholarship for a second- or third-year student in the top third of his/her class who shows an interest in small animal medicine.

Eastern Dog Club Scholarship
Annual scholarship awarded to a resident of the New England states who is not related to or connected with a member of the Eastern Dog Club.  The recipient is chosen by the Executive Committee of the club on recommendation of the dean of the school.

George F. and Sybil H. Fuller Foundation
Provides annual scholarships to assist needy veterinary students.

Framingham District Kennel Club Scholarship
Annual scholarship to assist a second- or third-year student from New England whose primary interest is in the canine field and who is not associated with the Framingham District Kennel Club.

Ginger Memorial Scholarship
Donated by Norman A. and Kathleen M. MacLeod in memory of their golden retriever.  Annual scholarship to assist third- or fourth-year student planning a career in small animal medicine and maintaining satisfactory academic performance.

New England Farm and Garden
Annual scholarship to assist a deserving student enrolled in the School of Veterinary Medicine.

Elmina B. Sewall Foundation Scholarships
Provides scholarships to qualified veterinary students planning careers in large animal medicine, with preference given to residents of Maine.

Stormy Le Roi Scholarship
In memory of a beloved Thoroughbred, this annual scholarship is awarded to assist a third- or fourth-year student who is planning a career in large animal medicine.  The recipient must be in good academic standing and in need of financial assistance.

Jean B. B. Underhill Foundation
Annual scholarship awarded to fourth-year students in good academic standing in need of financial assistance. Preference is given to students with an interest in oncology.

Veterinary Associates of the North Shore
Provides scholarships to assist needy veterinary students from the North Shore area of Massachusetts.

Veterinary Scholarship Trust of New England Loan and Scholarship Fund
Established in 1997 by the Veterinary Scholarship Trust of New England (formerly the MVMA Scholarship Loan Fund of New England), to provide scholarships and loans to deserving veterinary students from New England.

Westminster Kennel Club Foundation Scholarship
Annual scholarship to a qualified student interested in canine medicine or surgery.
