TCSVM Alumni Services

Alumni Email:
Alumni email offers you an @alumni.tufts.edu forwarding address. The next time your email address changes, you won't have to notify everyone. You'll just need to make one update to your alumni email account, and they'll always be able to reach you. Click here to learn more.

Alumni Library Privileges:
The Webster Family Veterinary Library is open to the alumni of Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University with the following services:

  • Alumni borrowing cards: Available at the Library Office; allows borrowing of non-reserve materials. Download an application or pick one up at the library. For access to the Library after hours, call Campus Police - you must have your borrowing card with you.
  • Database Searching: through the Friends & Alumni Portal (requires Tufts Alumni Online Community registration) or while visiting the Library.
  • Web Access.
  • Fee-based Document Delivery: Request articles in our collection to be sent to you by mail or fax.
  • Additional Services:
    • TCSVM has an experienced library staff who can search over 300 databases on many aspects of life sciences including animal health and related topics.
    • Searches are tailored to your particular needs.
    • Receive a printout of references to articles, conference proceedings, technical reports and theses.

Library Hours:
Webster Library Hours. The Loew Center, where the Library is located, is locked at 6:00 p.m. on weeknights and all weekend. Please contact Campus Police for access to the building.

Alumni Visitors Pass:
Coming to campus and would like to visit the old haunting grounds? Please stop by the Development and Alumni Relations Office to pick up an Alumni Visitors pass to access the halls of the hospitals.

Tufts Online Community Services:
The Online Community offers many electronic tools to help you get the most out of your Tufts connection. Tools such as the career center allow you to post jobs or search for career opportunities posted by fellow alumni.

TUVAA helps support programs for veterinary alumni and students. Your $25 annual membership is vital to the Association’s ability to establish new activities and ensure the growth of its already successful programs. This year, members will receive a 20% discount on Continuing Education offered at Reunion. Please make your check payable to Tufts University Veterinary Alumni Association and mail it along with your dues survey to:
