College Program Adventures in Veterinary Medicine
Overview of Program
Are you considering applying to veterinary school? Do you want to make sure you are on the right track with your classes? Spend a week exploring veterinary education at one of the finest schools in the country and get a taste for what veterinary medicine is all about.
You will shadow fourth year students in the clinics as they perform their medicine and surgery rotations, giving you a firsthand look at the demands of a veterinary medical education. You will have lectures from clinical faculty, and discuss the realities of a veterinary education with current vet students. You'll take part in lively discussions about critical issues, including ethics, emerging diseases, and conservation, with other committed students who care about animal health as much as you do. And you will have a chance to meet with the admissions and financial aid staff to get a realistic picture of where you are financially and how to strengthen your credentials for admission.
