High School Program Adventures in Veterinary Medicine
High school sessions are now full.
Overview of Program
- Do you love animals?
- Do you enjoy science?
- Are you the neighborhood animal "doctor"?
- Have you ever thought about being a vet?
- Do you want to spend a fun, exciting week at Tufts?
If you can answer "Yes!" to any of these questions, then you should sign up for Adventures in Veterinary Medicine this summer!
Adventures in Veterinary Medicine is an exciting, stimulating, and fun way to spend two weeks learning about being a vet. You'll visit our large and small animal hospitals and wildlife clinic. You'll learn about keeping pets healthy. And you'll take part in lively discussions about some of the most important animal-related issues that face veterinarians today, like ethics, emerging diseases, conservation, and more.
Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity: your chance to discover what it's like to be a veterinarian... and what it takes to become one.
Who Should Attend?
High school students who enjoy animals, science, and medicine, and who are considering veterinary medicine as a possible career. This program will not teach you how to be a vet, but it will help you figure out if veterinary medicine is the right career for you.
