Libraries and Computing

The Webster Family Veterinary Medical Library is located in the Franklin M. Loew Veterinary Medical Education Center, essentially the hub of student life on the Grafton campus. This modern, well-lit building, with spectacular views of the countryside, is a gathering place for students to study, attend sessions on navigating the World Wide Web in the library's computer laboratory, and learn about other ways to access information.

The library's services are increasingly computer based. Because of the explosion of the "Information Age," many references and resources are now available on-line, and library staff have learned how to access and then provide specialized information to students, faculty, and other library patrons.

As the largest veterinary library in New England, the Webster Library also serves veterinarians, animal health care professionals, the biotechnology industry, and other corporate clients throughout the region.
