HQHV Friday Clinic
Every Friday the Tufts Shelter Medicine Program partners with shelters and rescue organizations from central Massachusetts to provide low-cost spay neuter services for homeless animals. Cummings School surgeons and local area veterinarians with a team of technicians come together to offer the following services:
- Dog and Cat Castration (Spay and Neuter)
- Vaccinations
- Pre-operative Exam
- Microchip Implantation (the Lerner Spay/Neuter Clinic sells pet microchips, but partners are welcome to bring their own at no cost)
This clinic is open to shelters and rescue organizations with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status only. Only healthy dogs and cats between the ages of three months and ten years of age are accepted. A price list of the procedures can be found on the Financial Policies page.
Please contact the Lerner Spay/Neuter Clinic for scheduling information and further questions.
