May assess voluntary eye movement or elicit vestibular eye
movements by moving the head laterally, medially, up and down
(see eye movement). A normal patient will exhibit normal nystagmus,
with the fast pace in the direction of the movement. Medial strabismus
may be seen with CN VI dysfunction.
