This reflex uses the biceps brachii muscle and brachialis muscles,
which are flexors of the elbow. They are innervated by the musculocutaneous
nerve. The origin of this reflex is C6-C8 in the spinal cord.

Assessment
A finger is placed on the tendons of the two muscles, cranial
and proximal to the elbow. The finger is struck. The expected response
is a slight flexion of the elbow.
