Every year during spring break, one of the US veterinary colleges hosts the Student AVMA symposium. This year, the symposium will be hosted by Purdue University on March 14-17, 2012. SCAVMA helps defray the costs to members attending through fundraising events. This affords veterinary students the opportunity to attend various seminars and wet labs, interact with students from other schools, and compete in academic and athletic events.
