Thanks to our new volunteers in New Jersey and the staff of the Wetlands Insitute and Brookdale Community College Ocean Institute for all of their help hosting trainings.
Thanks to all the volunteers who are now participating in New Hampshire and throughout Maine (especially new volunteers downeast) and New Brunswick, Canada with Bird Studies Canada and to the Downeast Heritage Center which hosted the training!
Thanks to Maine Audubon staff for a wonderful weekend on Hog Island for the Seabird Conservation In Maine Workshop/Training (click here for photos). This event was a great success, and over 50 volunteers are now walking beaches in Maine and New Hampshire. It was made possible by funding from Tufts Institute of the Evironment and Davis Conservation Foundation. It was held at Hog Island Audubon Camp in Bremen, ME - thanks to Maine Audubon camp staff for a wonderful time.
Thanks to all the volunteers who are now participating on Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut (now 30 beaches covered in CT after the training at CT Audubon Coastal Center, Milford Pt)!!
