PurposeThe purpose of our project was to design and construct a biodegradable or edible robot. In the age where small carbon footprints are necessary, an edible robot would create zero waste when completed. Instead of throwing out the robot when finished with it, people consume it instead, or let it just break down and become fertilizer. The prospects of a successful “Food robot” are impressive, and this project was a stepping-stone in proving that the concept is feasible.~Adam Cohen, 2Train Robotics~ |
