Religion and Extremism Group

The religion and extremism mailing list was set up in February 2002 to enable
researchers who attended an initial seminar at Sussex on this topic to keep up to date with
forthcoming events, plan future collaborative research and publications, and to float the
occasional discussion question. Since then, a second seminar on Christian
Fundamentalism, Antisemitism and Racism has been held, and a special issue of Patterns
of Prejudice
is being prepared with papers by group members. If there are any members
working on similar topics (religion and nationalism/antisemitism
/fundamentalism/xenophobia etc) who would like to join the list, please send your details
and areas of interest to Dr Stella Rock.
