Peter Y. Wong, Ph.D.
Research Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering
Director of University Relations at the Museum of Science (Boston, MA)

Welcome to my home page. I am a triple-jumbo graduate of Tufts (i.e., undergraduate, master, and PhD degrees from Tufts...our mascot is Jumbo the elephant). I am still here at Tufts and work as a Research Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering and as Director of TAMPL in the School of Engineering.

I enjoy the great interaction among faculty, students, and staff. Moreover, I enjoy the blend of projects including research, undergraduate and graduate education, and PreK-12 outreach. I am Director of the Thermal Analysis of Materials Processing Laboratory. I have also been a researcher in the former Comparative Biomechanics Laboratory.

I am also the Director of University Relations at the Museum of Science in Boston. My role there is to develop collaborations between the Museum and colleges and universities in the areas of public understanding of research, professional preparation and development for Prek-12 teachers, externally funded projects, and other general interactions.
