Across our campuses, Tufts’ seven libraries with over 1.2 million volumes and comprehensive digital collections provide essential resources, information, and technology to bring the world’s scholarship to Tufts and Tufts’ scholarship to the world. Tufts Libraries help students and faculty develop and hone the skills needed to navigate the dynamic information landscape and contribute to knowledge in all its forms.
Library Information
Medford/Somerville Campus
Tisch Library meets the diverse research, teaching, and learning needs of the Schools of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering by integrating opportunities for the development of critical information skills across the student experience and providing resources and guidance for learning and scholarship.
Lilly Music Library includes performance and study scores and media collections that include online audio, sound, and video recordings. We also have a physical location with books, music scores, CDs and other musical resources.
Ginn Library supports the mission of The Fletcher School with a collection that covers the fields of international law and organizations; human rights; gender; economic and political development; international energy resources and environmental matters; international security and peacekeeping; conflict negotiation; international business and finance; and the uses of the sea.
Tufts Archival Research Center is the archives and manuscript repository of Tufts University and is open to the public. A University-wide repository serving all schools, Tufts DCA includes records, photographs, and digital media documenting the history of Tufts as well as, personal papers, publications, and other materials that support teaching and research.
Boston Health Sciences
Hirsh Health Sciences Library maintains collections in medicine, dental medicine, nutrition, and supporting collections in the basic sciences.
Grafton Campus
Webster Family Library maintains collections in veterinary medicine, animal welfare, infectious disease, public policy, and conservation medicine as well as offers research and information services at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.
Boston SMFA Campus
W. Van Alan Clark, Jr. Library is the fine arts branch of the Tisch Library located on the third floor of the SMFA building, at 230 The Fenway in Boston.
